Dr C B Munjewar completed his MBBS in the year 2005 from Govt. Medical College, Nagpur, Maharashtra. He then did his specialisation (post graduation) in the field of Internal Medicine (MD Medicine) from 2006-2009 at the prestigious JJ Group of hospitals and Grant's Medical College, Mumbai. He then went ahead and did super-specialisation in the field cardiology (DM Cardiology) from the prestigious Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai and was third topper in the university merit list of DM Cardiology. During his training he had the opportunity of learning clinical cardiology in great detail and getting extensive hands on training in interventions in heart diseases under the guidance of some of the most experienced and highly expert renowned senior cardiologists. He is also regularly involved in research activities. He now aims to pass on the benefit of his hard earned expertise to his patients.

He did his specialization in general surgery from University of Pune, followed by superspecialization in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery (CVTS) from university of Mumbai. He has worked at BYL Nair hospital and KEM hospital, Mumbai for 15 years. He has a rich experience of 23 years in medical field and an extensive experience in adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery and vascular interventions. He has special interest in total arterial revascularisation (LIMA RIMA Y) bypass surgery in beating heart, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, TAVI, aortic aneurysm surgery and TEVAR. He started the minimally invasive cardiac surgery program and TEVAR program at KEM hospital. He has the honor of being the first cardiac surgeon in Mumbai to do TAVI procedure. He has presented multiple research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has been observer at Leipzig Heart Centre, Germany and has trained many students in cardiac surgery at KEM hospital.

He completed MBBS from BJMC Pune in 2001. MD Pediatrics from King Edward Memorial Hospital Mumbai and then fellowship in pediatric and fetal cardiology fro KEMH and TJU, CHOP, USA in 2009.
