HeartLean is a 90-day, cardiologist-supervised lifestyle management program in Mumbai. We help people with incidentally detected dyslipidemia (high cholesterol), prediabetes / elevated HbA1c and excess weight to improve metabolic health through personalized diet plans, safe TMT-guided exercise and regular medical monitoring. Led by Dr. C.B. Munjewar (Consultant Cardiologist) and Gargi Shah (Cardiac Nutritionist), HeartLean focuses on measurable outcomes with the goal of delaying or avoiding medication when safely possible.

You’ll receive weekly dietitian and monthly cardiologist consultations and a dedicated WhatsApp group for questions and tracking. The team will adjust the plan based on your progress.

How HeartLean Works

Initial Assessment

The journey begins with a detailed clinical assessment, including consultations with Dr. Munjewar and, if necessary a comprehensive 2d echo/TMT to determine your exercise capacity. This will be followed by consultation with our cardiac nutrionist Gargi Shah.

Customized Plan Creation

Based on your assessment, we create a personalized die & exercise plan for weight loss and sugar/cholesterol control that aligns with your overall health. We will make plan tailored to suit your needs and preferences.

Monitoring & Support

Your progress will be monitored with regular consultations with cardiologist and dietician, and you will have access to a dedicated WhatsApp group for education, routine questions and progress logs.

Review & Next Steps

Weight check & Repeat labs at 90 days to assess HbA1c and lipid changes. If targets are achieved, we recommend continuing the lifestyle plan. If not, the cardiologist will discuss  medication options.
